+++ Brief Description

  • A conversion of a newbuild VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier)
  • The 190 ft wide and 1,132 ft long FPSO is designed to process up to 7.3 MMscf/d of gas and 100,000 barrels of oil per day with a storage capacity of 1.6 million barrels of oil

  • **Keppel:** Marine conversion of a newbuild VLCC (Very Large Crude Carrier); the installation and integration of the topside modules; the assembly, installation and integration of the APL internal turret; the fabrication and installation of the flare tower, process piperack and helideck; and the upgrading of the accommodation quarters
  • **McDermott:** EPC Topsides Modules
  • **BW Offshore:** Installation of the submerged turret production (STP) and mooring system
  • **First Subsea:** Supply mooring line connectors and buoy pull-in connector for the Peregrino FPSO submerged turret production (STP) buoy

  • 2008 - BW Offshore awarded a Letter of Intent (LoI) for the installation of the submerged turret production (STP) and mooring system
  • 2009 - First Subsea awarded mooring connectors contract
  • 2010 - Peregrino FPSO completed
  • 2011 - First oil
  • 2012 - BW Offshore has signed a 5 year contract with Statoil for the operation of the FPSO
