Production Volume:

Alve lies in production licence 159B, about 16 kilometres south-west of Norne. The field embraces the Garn, Not Ile and Tilje formations. The proven reserves lie in Garn and Not.
The quality of the reservoir at Alve is such that one well ensures good production. Expected maximum gas production is roughly four million cubic metres of gas per day.
Recoverable reserves are estimated to be 6,78 billion cubic metres of gas and 8.3 million barrels of condensate
Production is delivered from the Alve field to the FPSO on the Norne Oil Field

**Acergy:** Installation of a 16 kilometres well control umbilical, a production riser, DEH feeder cable, template, spool and associated structures, together with tie-in work
**Technip and Subsea 7:** project management, engineering, procurement, installation, installation support and pre-commissioning of a rigid production flowline

1990 - Alve was discovered

2017 - Ineos acquired a 15% stake from DONG
2018 - Equinor sold a stake to Faroe Petroleum
2019 - DNO acquired Faroe and became a partner
2021 - PGNIG agreed to acquire a 15% stake from Ineos

The reservoir is in Jurassic sandstones of the Garn, Not, Ile and Tilje Formations. The reservoir lies at a depth of about 3 600 metres.
