KBR will provide design and support services needed for the project, replacing two existing naphtha reformers and a hydrogen plant with a single, state-of-the art reformer. The new unit is expected to increase the refinery's gasoline yields, increase co-product hydrogen production and improve overall plant reliability. Additionally, the new equipment will assist the refinery in meeting future environmental regulations, with an anticipated air emissions reduction of more than five percent.
