- Zafiro was the first deepwater field to be brought on-stream in West Africa and is currently the main producing field in Equatorial Guinea
 - The field utilises the Serpentina FPSO which was converted from the tanker, Amazon Eagle and is able to process up to 110,000 barrels per day of oil
