In 1982, LPEC successfully engineered No. 2 atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit with "dry vacuum process" for Nanjing Refinery. In 1991, LPEC designed No..3 crude distillation unit for Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd which is China's first CDU with compressor--free light ends recovery process. In 1995, LPEC provided revamping design for the 5.2 MM TPY crude distillation unit for processing sulfur crude for Guangzhou Petrochemical Company. In 1997, LPEC designed a 8.0 MM TPY atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit for Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., which was the largest crude distillation unit in China at that time. In 2003, LPEC designed a 10.0 MM TPY atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit for Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Company, which is the largest unit in single-train capacity in China. In 2004, LPEC engineered a 10.0 MM TPY No. 3 atmospheric--vacuum distillation unit for Dalian Petrochemical Company. In 2005, LPEC designed a 10.0 MM TPY atmospheric-vacuum distillation unit for Dushanzi Petrochemical Company. The crude distillation units engineered by LPEC amount to more than 80 units.
