LPEC has rich experience in front-end engineering design (FEED), feasibility study and overall plant design of petroleum refineries with a capacity of over 10 million tons per year and has its unique engineering features. The 5.0 MM TPY refinery of SINOPEC Luoyang Company designed by LPEC won the first prize of SINOPEC Excellent Engineering Design in 1995 and gold medal prize of State Ministry of Construction in 1996. The large refineries and oil and gas storage facilities for which LPEC have completed the front end engineering design, feasibility study and overall plant design are:

20.0 MM TPY refinery project for Maoming Petrochemical Company, 13.5 MM TPY refinery project for Guangzhou Petrochemical Company, 5.0 MM TPY refinery project for Zhanjiang Petrochemical Company, 18.0 MM TPY refinery project for Jinling Petrochemical Company, 14.0 MM TPY refinery project for Yangtze Petrochemical Company, 20.0 MM TPY refinery project for Dalian Petrochemical Company, 10.0 MM TPY refinery project for Dalian West Pacific Petrochemical Company, 15.0 MM TPY refinery project for Fushun Petrochemical Company, 10.0 MM TPY refinery project for Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, 5.0 MM TPY refinery project for Huhehot Petrochemical Company, 5,200,000 M3 Lanshan national crude oil terminal in Zhenhai and Shandong LNG terminal, etc.
