- The refinery is being upgraded with deeper refining complex enabling the Company to raise the conversion ratio and enhance production quality.
- The complex is to be equipped with hydrocracking and visbreaking units, a vacuum unit, and a diesel fuel hydro-dewaxing unit.
History
- 1966 - Refinery was commissioned
- 1996 - Kirishi started production of diesel fuel with a maximum of 500 ppm of sulfur
- 2008 - Upgrading project launched
- 2013 - Kirishi Refinery Project completed
