Description
- The Clipper complex is the main installation for the Sole Pit fields. Situated 72 kilometres north east of the East Anglian coast in the Southern North Sea.
 - The Clipper is made up of five bridge-linked platforms – the wellhead platform, a production platform, a compression platform, a Riser Platform and a metering platform.
 - First operational in 1990, the installation produces and processes gas from the wells on wellhead platform and gas is also imported from the satellite platforms, producing from the **Barque** (049/16), **Cutter**, **Carrack Gas Field** ** Galleon** and **Skiff** (048/20a) fields.
 - The Barque field consists of 2 unmanned platforms, PL & PB
 - The Galleon field consists of 2 unmanned platforms, PN & PG
 - Cutter & Carrack have one platform each, Cutter QC and Carrack QA
 - The Skiff field consist of a minimum facilities, Skiff PS, normally unmanned installation (NUI), connected via a pipeline to the Clipper platform which provides processing and export facility for the Skiff fluids of gas, condensate and water
 - Gas is exported through a 24 inch diameter subsea pipeline to the Bacton Gas Plant in Norfolk.
