Summary Information
- Operator: Petrobras
 - Country: Brazil
 - Location: Uruguá Pole, Santos Basin around 130 miles offshore from Rio de Janeiro
 - Production start: 2010
 - Partners:
 - Type: Oil & Gas
 - Estimated Reserves: The Tambau field is estimated to hold gas reserves of 1.8 tcf (trillion cubic feet), while Urugua holds 250 million bbl (barrels) of oil and 1.3 tcf of gas
 - Production Volume:

+++ Description
- The reservoir of the Uruguá field holds 33º API light oil and non-associated gas. The development plan for the field foresees four horizontal oil wells and five gas producer wells, which will be connected directly to the FPSO; The Tambaú field will have three horizontal wells of non-associated gas, which will be interconnected to a submarine production manifold to be connected to Cidade De Santos Mv20 FPSO
 - The FPSO will be capable of processing 350 million cubic feet per day of gas, 35,000 barrels of oil per day, and having a storage capacity of approximately 700,000 barrels
 - The natural gas is transported to the Mexilhão Gas Field by pipeline

+++ Contractors
- **MODEC:** Supply, charter and operations of a Floating Production, Storage and Offloading (FPSO) vessel
 - **Saipem:** Urugua' - Mexilhao Pipeline Installation
 - **Nexans:** Develop, manufacture and supply the electro-hydraulic control umbilicals
 - **FMC Technologies:** Supply of four vertical subsea trees, with an option for two additional trees, as well as manifolds, controls and associated equipment
