Description
- Escravos facilities gather gas from two Chevron-operated shallow ater offshore fields, **Okan** and **Mefa**.
- Prior to the associated gas development project, this gas was simply flared
- The gas is compressed and piped onshore to a liquids extraction plant which removes LPG and condensate
- Associated gas from the plant is to feed the Escravos GTL Plant
- The field utilises an FSO for the LPG
Contractors
- **HHI:** Manufacture of a production/processing facility for the onshore gas plant & a drilling and production facility for an offshore drilling site
- **KYE Engineering:** Platform fabrication
- **Foster Wheeler:** Design verification
- **McDermott-ETPM:** Pipelines for Escravos Project
- **Acergy:** Procurement and installation of over 130 km of pipelines, the fabrication and installation of 15 risers and 3 subsea tie-ins and the installation of over 40 crossings
- **Sofec:** FSO External Turret
- **Saipem:** Escravos Gas Project Phase 1 Development - T&I
