New page

Summary Information
* Operator: Eni
* Country: Ghana
* Location: Tano Basin, Offshore
* Production start:
* Partners: Eni 44.44%, Vitol 35.56% and Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) 20%.
* Type: Gas & Oil
* Estimated Reserves: 1.5 trillion cubic feet (tcf) of gas-in-place and around 500 million barrels of oil-in-place
* Production Volume: Targeting 85,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day

+++ Description

* The OCTP development comprises five fields Sankofa Main (non associated gas), Sankofa East (non associated gas), Gye Nyame (non associated gas), Sankofa East Cenomanian (oil), Sankofa East Campanian (oil)
* The development is in a depth of 600 – 1000 m of water.
* The project consists of two phases:
** Phase 1: //**Oil Development Project.**// This phase will consist of 14 subsea wells (8 oil producers, 3 water injectors and 3 associated gas injectors), sub-sea production systems located on the sea bed with the oil and gas brought to surface by flowlines and risers connected to a floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, the [[[John Agyekum Kufuor FPSO]]]. Oil will be stored in the FPSO and then offloaded to tankers.
** Phase 2: **//Gas Development Project.//** This phase will consist of 5 subsea wells, subsea facilities, gas treating facilities on the FPSO , a 63 km subsea gas pipeline, an Onshore Receiving Facility (ORF), where gas will be compressed and injected into the Western Corridor Gas Pipeline for transportation to industrial customers in Ghana. tie-in with the GNPC sales gas pipeline.

+++ Contractors
* **Yinson:** Supply of FPSO
* **GE:** four Electric Motors andthree Electric Generators for Gas Turbines
* **Oceaneering:** Subsea Production and Control System (SPS) and umbilicals engineering, as well as project management, fabrication, transport and testing. This includes the supply of electro-hydraulic, steel tube umbilicals totaling approximately 51 kilometers (32 miles) in length
* **TechnipFMC:** Project management, engineering, supply, construction and commissioning (EPC) for the Onshore Receiving Facilities (ORF)
