* Jotun is an oil field located 25 kilometres north of Balder in the middle part of the North Sea. The sea depth in the area is 126 metres. The field has been developed with a combined accommodation, production and storage vessel, [[[Jotun A FPSO]]], and a wellhead facility, Jotun B.
* Jotun is integrated with Balder and processes gas from Balder and oil from the Jurassic reservoir in the Ringhorne deposit.
* The [[[Jette Oil Field]]] is tied back to the Jotun FPSO
* Gas is transported on the [[[Statpipe Gas Pipeline]]]

+++ Geology
* The Jotun field comprises three structures and the easternmost structure has a small gas cap. The reservoirs consist of sandstones of the Heimdal Formation of Paleocene age. The reservoirs are deposited in a sub-marine fan system and lie at a depth of about 2 000 metres. To the west the sand has good reservoir quality, while the shale content increases towards the east.
