+++ Description
* These fields are part of the Liverpool Bay Development, along with Douglas Oil Field and Lennox Oil Field
* There are three Hamilton gas fields; Hamilton, Hamilton North and Hamilton East.
* The Hamilton and Hamilton North gas platforms are almost identical.
** These platforms are two-level, normally unmanned structures with an underdeck. Produced gas, together with condensate and formation water, is transported via subsea pipeline to Douglas for further processing.
* Hamilton East was a gas production well from a single subsea well completion, tied back to the Hamilton North platform via a subsea pipeline, but this well is now shut in and has zero production.

+++ Contractors
* **McDermott-ETPM:** Subsea installation
* **Saipem:** Pipeline installation

+++ History
* 1993 - Government approval for Hamilton & Hamilton North
* 1995 - First Gas Produced
* 1997 - Production starts from Hamilton A
* 1998 - Centrica acquires a stake from Powergen
* 2001 - Hamilton East gets development approval
* 2002 - ENI acquires Centrica's stake
