* Production start: 1987
+++ Description
* Alwyn North, Dunbar, Ellon, Forvie, Grant, Islay, Jura, Nuggets, and Otter are the fields that form the portfolio in the Alwyn Area of the Northern North Sea.
* 160km east of the Shetland Islands and 440km north-east of Aberdeen,they’re producing approximately 150,000 barrels of oil equivalent per day
* Oil from Alwyn is transported via Cormorant Alpha and the Brent System Oil Pipeline to the Sullom Voe Oil Terminal in Shetland.
* Gas is transported via the Frigg UK Gas Pipeline System to the Fuka St Fergus Gas Processing Terminal near Peterhead
** **Alwyn North** is the hub of the Alwyn Area and the support centre for neighbouring fields. Alwyn North consists of two platforms - NAA and NAB. NAA is the drilling and accommodation platform. NAB is the processing and treatment platform.
** **Dunbar** consists of a single Small Steel Manned Platform -
** **Nuggets:** Consists of four isolated subsea wells within four gas-bearing accumulations. The Nuggets wells are controlled from the Dunbar platform and are linked by subsea pipelines to Alwyn North
** **Forvie North:** A single well in the Brent Formation, via a sub-sea manifold. A new, 15 inch high-pressure gas-condensate link has been constructed from Forvie to Alwyn North

+++ Contractors
* **RGC Offshore:** Construction of Alwyn North NAA & NAB Platforms
* **THOF:** Construction of Dunbar platform
* **Bibby Offshore:** Ellon & Grant Nuggets Well Restart
* **BiFab:**
** Dunbar Separator Module
** Dunbar-Ellon/Subsea	Choke Manifold and Protection Cover
* **Heerema Marine Contractors:** Installation of North Alwyn A
* **Saipem:** Dunbar Integrated Deck EPC
