+++ Description
* Located approximately 175 kilometres offshore from Goldboro, NS, the Deep Panuke project involves processing natural gas offshore and transporting sales quality gas to market.
* First gas is expected in the second half of 2012.
* The project includes a Production Field Centre (PFC) in a water depth of approximately 45 metres, four production wells at start-up and one well for the safe disposal of hydrogen sulphide and carbon dioxide.
* The Deep Panuke production facilities consist of a jack-up type of production platform that is designed to produce up to 300 million cubic feet per day (MMcf/d) of natural gas
