* The Beryl Area includes 12 fields utilising the same production infrastructure, including **Ness**, **Nevis**, **Buckland** and **Skene** fields
* There are two production platforms, Beryl Alpha, a steel platform and Beryl Bravo a Concrete Gravity Based Structure
* Gas is transported via the [[[Scottish Area Gas Evacuation (SAGE) Pipeline]]] to the [[[Sage St Fergus Gas Processing Terminal]]]
* Gas is also recieved from the [[[Edvard Grieg Oil And Gas Field]]] in the Norwegian Section
* The **Linnhe Field** was a subsea satellite of Beryl Bravo platform. The field was discovered in 1988, with the wildcat well 9/13c-40, and developed as a single production well, 9/13c-40z, and a single water injection well, 9/13-44z, tied back to Beryl Bravo.
* The field came on-stream in October 1989 and production ceased in December 1991

* 2012 - Production reaches highest level since 2001, after drilling new extension well
* 2012 - Beryl Bravo B73y development well tests at 8,161 barrels of oil per day (bo/d) and 5.9 million cubic feet of gas per day (MMcf/d)
* 2012 - Shell acquired a stake from Hess
* 2015 - Apache discovers more reserves
* 2017 - Chrysaor acquired Shell's stake in the field.
